Yay for watercolors. 8D
Because I refuse to color with my colored pencils until I get a new blender... I have 3 linearts ready in my sketchbook. ;D Anyway, this was kind of an experiment/learning experience, so feel free to critique, but don't be too harsh because I was kinda just trying to see what I could do. It's HARD to get solid black with watercolors, there are several layers there and it's still not quite perfect... But I expected that. Tiny head/face, I know, I'm sorry. XD The hand holding the cards is supposed to be further forward, but I don't know if it's right because foreshortening is a major weakness of mine. ^^b Anyway, this is close to what the original character concept for Kichiro was - that's where his name came from, and he had a name before he had an actual design. *nods* Not that he's stayed anywhere near his original concepts. XD |
